I’ve spent much of my career studying what happens between people.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in relationship therapy in downtown Toronto.
I’ve spent more than a decade practicing, teaching, and supervising therapists in relational and couples therapy.
I am trained in multiple approaches to relationship therapy, including relational, attachment-based, somatic and psychobiological approaches, Relational Life Therapy and trauma-informed couples work.
I also bring more than 20 years of experience in health and social services, including frontline work with people navigating trauma, grief, mental health, substance use and crisis.
But ultimately, I don’t believe there is a formula for love.
Your relationship is unique.
So our work begins with understanding the particular story the two of you have created together.
My work is grounded in the belief that relationships aren’t simply places where our wounds get triggered. They’re also places where we can learn new ways of being human.
I don’t see relationships as problems to be fixed.
I see them as places where our histories, hopes, fears, identities and deepest needs meet.
And sometimes collide.
My role is to help you become curious about what is happening between you, without reducing either person to the problem.
Get in TouchAbout My Approach

There isn’t one formula for love.
Every relationship is different. I draw from several approaches to relationship therapy so that we can respond to what is actually happening between you.
My work is grounded in:
Relational therapy
Understanding the patterns that develop between people.
Attachment-based therapy
Understanding our needs for connection, safety and security.
Somatic therapy
Paying attention to what happens in the body, not only what happens in the mind.
Psychobiological approaches (PACT)
Understanding how our nervous systems affect the way we relate.
Relational Life Therapy (Terry Real)
Working directly with relational patterns, accountability, and difference.
Trauma-informed couples therapy
Understanding how trauma can shape intimacy, conflict, and connection.
Sex and relationship therapy
Making room for honest conversations about desire, sexuality, intimacy, and erotic life.
These aren’t boxes you have to fit into. They’re tools I can draw from to meet your relationship where it actually is.
